PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wolenski Law Print Brochures & Booklet
For this freelance project, I designed two tri-fold brochures and an eight page booklet using InDesign. I worked with a copywriter to create these printables for Wolenski Law, an Indianapolis-based law firm. The printables will be used to promote the firm and help explain estate planning and elder decision mediation to clients.
Learning the Brand Style
To begin the project, I familiarized myself with the existing branding for Wolenski Law. I browsed their website and used their brand guide to begin designing first drafts of the print pieces.
Elder Decision Mediation Brochure
For each print piece, I designed a first draft with placeholder text based on the copywriter's outline. As the copy was completed, I updated and re-arranged the designs to accommodate the text. We then held Zoom calls with the client to discuss edits and gain final approval.

Estate Planning Brochure
The estate planning brochure went alongside the estate planning booklet. Since they used the same copy, I designed these two pieces to be visually consistent to show the documents were related.

Estate Planning Booklet
The estate planning booklet changed the most between versions. The concept shifted from an informational booklet to a workbook clients could use when meeting with the firm. This meant adding two additional pages to make room for a notes section for each topic.

Highlights
This freelance project was interesting as I had the opportunity to work with a freelance copywriter. I enjoyed getting to design for print in a professional style. The firm was very happy with the end products and would be using them at an upcoming event.
